If you anticipate major cleanup activities after an earthquake involving heavy rubble, nails or other sharp objects, leather gloves provide excellent protection. Leather gloves also offer more padding for the hands and protection from hot or burning objects. However, they are bulky and poorly suited for tasks that involve filling out forms, handling controls (e.g., on a radio, phone, etc.), or taking items in and out of backpacks, containers, etc. These work gloves have a leather palm with fabric backing and knit cuffs for warmth and comfort. One size fits all.
